Weekly roundup: Catch up
I missed the second week of 2018 in my round up series. Bummer. But no worries, I'll get this figured out and make a point of doing it on a regular basis from here on out. Okay! So what did I get done this week?
Elation Still very much in the early stages of figuring our processes and codebase, but I managed to update a critical database full of medical information before a deadline when the data would have expired. That was a nice accomplishment, even though Phill helped me with a lot of the actual update process. I have also been improving my task management at work and focusing on what matters. This has meant that a few minor issues meant to get me familiar with the codebase have taken longer than they should have. But I wont beat myself up over that.
Castine Had a simple warrant-signing meeting this week, which also included an interesting discussion of the issues with kids at the library after school. Jimmy offered to follow up on our discussion with the Principal at the school and get back to us. Of course, I forgot to call him back today and it's Friday, so hopefully I'll learn more early next week.
Church Not a lot going on in my UU world, unfortunately. Between family and work comittments I've been having trouble getting focused on specific tasks. There have also, in full candid-mode, been some things happening on boards and committees that have made it difficult for me to find motivation to move forward. That's mostly in my head, and is something I'm hoping to address in the coming week or two.
Next week promises to be just as gross weather-wise, so I will likely need to stay focused to keep in my groove.
